Privacy Policy

Canonical Helium publication text: /legal/privacy?v=2026-08-30.
1. Scope
This policy describes how Agens, Inc. ("Agens," "we," "us") handles personal information when you use agensai.com, create an account, subscribe, or run Helium. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
Helium executes on your device. Files, connectors, and systems of record that never leave your environment are not collected by Agens unless you send them to us, for example in a support request.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Agens, we may collect:
- Account data. Name, work email, and authentication identifiers from Descope when you sign up or sign in.
- Workspace data. Workspace name, membership, and role.
- Billing data. Subscription status and Stripe customer and checkout identifiers. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers.
- Usage data. After a billable Helium run we may receive model name, input and output token counts, timestamps, and a client run id, tied to your account and workspace.
- Website and demo data. Information you submit on demo or contact forms, plus standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested).
- Visitor identification. On the public site in production we use Apollo to identify companies and, where permitted, people, and to enrich form submissions.
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and authenticate accounts and workspaces
- Process subscriptions and show entitlement to Helium
- Record usage on the dashboard and operate billing
- Respond to demo and support requests
- Secure the site and API, prevent abuse, and debug outages
- Understand which organizations visit the public site
We do not sell personal information.
4. Helium on your device
Commercial Helium stores a session in the operating system secret store and sends Authorization: Bearer tokens to our workspace API. It may read Paid entitlement and post usage after a billable run. Local workspace folders, model keys you store on the device, and content Helium reads from your tools stay on your machine unless you configure a third-party model or connector to receive them.
5. Processors
We use service providers to operate the product:
- Descope for authentication
- Stripe for Checkout, the customer portal, and subscription webhooks
- Render for hosting the website, workspace API, and database
- Apollo for website visitor identification and form enrichment
- Aikido for application security instrumentation
Model providers you configure in Helium receive prompts and outputs you send them. Those providers are not Agens processors unless an order form says otherwise.
6. Sharing
We share personal information with the processors above, with workspace members who can already see the same dashboard, and when required by law or to protect the service. We may transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy or a successor notice.
7. Retention
Account, membership, billing snapshots, and usage events are kept while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can operate billing, security, and legal obligations. Demo form submissions are kept long enough to respond and follow up. You can ask us to delete an account through the contact form.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, session tokens rather than stored passwords on our servers, and membership-based authorization on the workspace API. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for access to devices that run Helium and for the secrets stored on those devices.
9. Your choices
You can update workspace settings while signed in, manage billing in the Stripe customer portal, and sign out of Helium to stop attribution to that account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Requests can be sent through the contact form. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.
10. Children
Agens is a business service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
11. International
We operate in the United States. If you use the site or Helium from another country, your information may be processed in the United States.
12. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The date above is the effective date. Material changes will apply going forward.
13. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the contact form.
